Continuing the early eghties tip, we have The Jonzun Crew and ‘Pack Jam.’ Unlike most groups of that era they said ‘fuck sequencers’ and played all their drums and synths live. Either way this is a monster.

This is the first post. Just going to keep it simple. The woman above is Evelyn King. Her voice is good. I picked this up in the Madhatters second hand shop in Tollcross (Edinburgh). It was sitting in a box of 45s outside the shop fully exposed to the elements. Hence the recording isn’t perfect. You can download by right clicking, save as on the link below or just stream it.
